У меня он есть! Есть также и остальные с набора: mp_mauritius.zip, mp_sioux.zip, mpacoma.zip, mpapache.zip, mpcayuse.zip, mpcheyenne.zip.....
но все они не заслуживают достаточно пристального внимания!

Ну и какие те шаблоны? На сотню ,только несколько можно назвать неплохими. Обходил вагон сайтов с бесплатными шаблонами, и всюду так, кроме того практически на всех сайтах они дублируются. Возможно с коммерческими дела обстоят не так? Может кто знает ссылку на толковые коммерческие шабы, поделитесь плиз!?

Ты с какой целью интересуешься-то? ;)

В этом нет ничего особенно трудного, готовые шаблоны лишь ускоряют сам процесс.. написания собственной "темы" для сайта.
И, в большинстве случаев (все зависит от лени и выдумки автора), конечный продукт может разительно отличаться от исходного. :)

Это - "первый вариант" написания...

Можно также, сгенерив болванки странички и стиля, заполнить их по своему разумению и добавить нарисованную/порезанную собственоручно графическую часть...

Это - "второй вариант" написания...

И список можно продолжить... ;)

Чтоб полностью не скатиться в "оффтоп", Добрый Совет: Если тебя действительно интерсует написание собственных шаблонов для Joomla! - пройдись по сайтам/форумам "русской поддержки".. И, правильно выбирай темы для своих вопросов.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, подходящий шаблончик для базы людей, где можно прилепить фото, резюме, параметры разные, организовать поиск по параметрам, закрывать доступ к отдельным параметрам...

1. Для переключения языков, при использовании JoomFish - проще воспользоваться стандартным модулем, слегка изменив под себя картинки языков.
Ну а если всеже есть нестерпимое желание "вставить" картинки в шаблон - посмотри ТУТ (http://infocn.ru) и ТУТ (http://ukrpartners.com/)

2. Для "базы людей" тебе не "шаблончик" нужен... А, по меньшей мере - "компонентик".. ;) Тут все зависит от набора требуемых параметров, знания "предмета" и свободы фантазии..

:sos: Подскажите, пожалуйста, как отвязать "вертикальное" главное меню от "горизонтального" главного меню (т.е. в этом шаблоне главное меню дублируется вертикально слева и горизонтально (кнопками)), а задача стоит сделать 2 эти менюшки разными по контенту.. help please!!!
Очень просто: горизонталное меню заполняется скриптом, встроенным в шаблон, из меню "mainmenu" - все что ты хочешь видеть в горизонтальном меню должно быть в "mainmenu". А в блоке LEFT вместо модуля mainmenu можешь поставить к примеру модуль "OTHER MENU" и соответственно заполни меню "OTHERMENU" пунктами, которые ты хочешь видеть в вертикальном меню слева...

Компонент уже купили, а шаблоны в нем действительно есть :) если смущает слово "шаблоны", то "скины/шкуры" для отображения комментариев - будет понятнее

не смущает.... ;)
Просто возьми эти шаблоны и глянь в блокноте, природа станет понятна.
С компонентом идет нормальный набор.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как отвязать "вертикальное" главное меню от "горизонтального" главного меню (т.е. в этом шаблоне главное меню дублируется вертикально слева и горизонтально (кнопками)), а задача стоит сделать 2 эти менюшки разными по контенту.. help please!!!

Лениво зайти в меню и изменить ссылки?
И ничего не нужно "отвязывать"...
Слева обычно mainmenu, сверху topmenu...
И они НИКАК не "завязаны", прикинь...? ;)

Для серьезных "финансистофф" это не деньги..

Есть еще вариант, который я, видимо, и буду использовать - ручками своими. Подберу флэшечку подходящую - и вперед! Шаблон-то сверстать несложно...:)

Еслиб совсем несложно было сверстать качественный шаблон для сабжа.. темы, в которой мы с тобой постим, несуществовало бы..
Лично я знаю лишь троих грамотных верстальщиков.
Плюс - студии, работы которых выкладываются тут.. ;)

Ещё один момент - заказчики твои, на сколько я могу судить, расчитывают на "эксклюзив"..
Они здорово изумятся.. узнав каким образом был собран их супер-мега-шаблончик. ;)

Кроме неприятностей которые можно обрести.. можно потерять ИМЯ..
Это - не есть ХОРОШО.. (из общего опыта фриланса..)

Существует ли в природе редактор шаблонов Joomla
Как такового отдельно-стоящего редактора вроде нет, да и не было никогда, зато есть инструменты...
Joomla template Kit (http://nowa.cc/showthread.php?t=95238) - расширение для Dreamweaver - позволяет вставлять в редактируемый php-документ специальные команды типа mosShowHead() и так же создавать базовые файлы шаблона.
Подобное есть и для Joomla 1.5:

А никто не встречал шаблоны с медицинской тематикой? Заранее благодарен за ответ
Отдельных редакторов как писалось, нет Модули для Дримвивера конечно ничего, но из-за этих самых mos, вроде бы не позволяет верстать шаблоны для Joomla 1.5. (Хотя, могу и ошибиться).
Существует еще Joomla Dreamweaver Template Kit 2.0 - но мне лично он не понравился.
Есть еще несколько бесплатных версталок, но они все глючные.
Надежнее всего - ручками, или переделать какой-нибудь шаблон под себя
Шаблонов медицинской тематики встречал несколько вот здесь:
